A brand new establishment set in a beautiful open garden. The house was built in 1947 as the Anglican Episcopal Residence named Bishops Hurst - Hurst meaning "A place of eminence". In 1970 the house was purchased by the Lutheran Church to create a "Living Museum". Bishops Hurst was published in "Images of the Past" in 2000 by the Zululand Historical Museum. The house was renovated in 2005 concerning the character of the house and preserving the essence of the area.
